Finding true balance means cultivating and connecting your mind and body. It is not one or the other, it’s both.
On the one hand, we’ve got our minds: our thoughts, attitudes and beliefs that can affect our bodies positively or negatively —with stress proven to be a direct cause of many health issues. On the other end, what we do with our bodies, how we treat them, what we eat or how we move (or not move) also has a direct impact on our mental state —including the release of endorphins, which is always good!
At CULTIVATE we not only believe in the mind and body connection, we advocate for it. It is deeply rooted in our mission and values, and determines the way we choose our teachers and select our classes.
Because cultivating your mind and body is more than just “working out” —it’s working towards.
